Our Practitioners
The practitioner loves the patient back to his own center. With technical knowledge of practice he removes the blocks which obstruct the passage of Spirit in the patient's experience. He does not establish the patient in Truth, in God or in Life. He merely takes him by the mental hand and leads him back into himself. His entire effort, whether it be audible explanation or silent practice, is to establish the patient in his own spiritual center.

Mary Alpaugh, RScP Emeritus
My highest vision as a Practitioners is to be a light in this world, to be one who contributes and magnifies peace and love. Having served as a Practitioner since 1990, I became a Practitioner Emeritus some time ago but that’s just an embellishment to the role. My special practitioner ministry is to addictions and co-dependency. It is my privilege to provide timeless service in prayer, time and treasure, which starts with love and devotion to those who call upon me for prayer treatment, encouragement and teaching Science of Mind and Spirit principles.
Besides attending and serving at the many gatherings we have, I devote my “retirement time” to serving children in the foster care system as a Guardian Ad Litem volunteer (and retired Child Advocate Manager), bringing my Practitioner’s consciousness and skills to children whose family circumstances has brought them harm. This is a “love in action” activity.
My gifts to the community are learning and experience, imagination and faith. Teaching is a joy for me and I learn more than the students by doing so! I even taught a course at Holmes Institute several years ago. And while serving three in-person communities, I was a Junior Church teacher and administrator. What I learned was that “if you can teach Science of Mind to children, you can teach it to anyone.” And don’t think it is easier to teach the Littles! I am a big proponent of Visioning, having taught the CSL Visioning course and attending visioning gatherings consistently since we began them many years ago.
Jeri Fraser, RScP
Jeri Fraser is a licensed Religious Science Practitioner living in The Villages, FL. As someone who has been involved in New Thought and Science of Mind for decades, she is eager to share and make these wonderful Principles available to others. It is her deepest desire to bring the quality of loving kindness to everyone she encounters and everything she does. She welcomes all to her practice who would benefit from her deep, compassionate listening and her seeing and knowing of each client’s Spiritual wholeness.
In addition to doing treatment sessions for individual clients, Jeri is an accomplished singer, speaker, and performer with a robust musical ministry. She loves to share her music via workshops, seminars, classes, and services.
Jaye Hargrove, RScP
I love this teaching of the Science of Mind and Spirit, having been introduced to the life-changing writings of Ernest Holmes by my friend and fellow Practitioner, Jeri Fraser, nearly 40 years ago. It was instantly healing and a tonic for me. Now, it’s a daily practice and privilege to be in the living, loving Presence and Perfection of the subjective mental Law as it responds to our conscious knowing of the Truth of our lives. It is always and naturally returning us to our essential Wholeness as we recognize and declare our Oneness with It.
I’m also a long-time yoga and meditation teacher, an avid appreciator of all the healing arts and ancient-wisdom traditions. It’s so important to hold ourselves in loving and compassionate awareness in every moment.
Namasté.

Clare Powers, RScP
My Goal for my Practitioner ministry is to help people understand how wonderful they truly are and to realize the potential we are all given. I bring a long history of study in the principles of Science of Mind, coupled with many years of experience in living those teachings.
My most consistent spiritual practices are study and meditation. I find that keeping my awareness centered on the spiritual origins of all that exists changes the way I see and experience my life.
Linda Tompkins, RScP
My highest vision is to continue to maintain and enhance my connection with the Divine and help others do that as well. It’s an evolving process, an ongoing journey. I became a Practitioner in Aug 2002 but have been a Spiritual Seeker most of my life.
I’m here to serve humanity, all with whom I interact: family, friends, other seekers, everyone who crosses my path. My goal is always to honor the Divine within myself and others.
My gifts include the ability to listen without judgment (usually). I consider myself a peaceful presence. My business background has enabled me to serve my Center as Treasurer for several years. Since retiring, I’ve become more engaged with my community and practice social activism on a larger scale.
Regular Spiritual Practices include reading, prayer, meditation, self-reflection, yoga and other forms of exercise, spending time in nature. I would also add caring for my current cat as well as numerous other cats over the years as I consider them to be quite mystical.
